My surrealistic world puts eyes on most things. Eyes denote awareness and connection. I like to think that all of nature is awake. The central eye communicates being watched over and cared for. Materials are another channel for energy. As many repurposed items have lived previous lives, I like to think these materials brings stories of their travels along with them when they merge with a piece.

-antique glass doll eye
-vintage brass hand braided chain from West Germany
-Swarovski flat back crystals (these sparkle and dance in person)
-contemporary glass seed beads from the Czech Republic
-brass rectangular stamping
-rhinestone cup chain from the Czech Republic
-vintage brass evening bag chain
 
This hand created form is embellished using a mosaic process. Measurements include the chain when hung.
