SHIPPING POLICIES
Standard shipping is USPS Priority. We will use UPS if a package is too large to ship via the USPS. Insurance is not included in your shipping charges. If you wish to add the cost of insurance for accidental damage or loss please contact us for a quote. If shipping to another country contact us for shipping price. Overseas orders will be shipped through the US Post Office Priority Mail without insurance. Any non-delivery of an item shipped overseas is the responsibility of the buyer. If you want your purchase insured for an international purchase please communicate that to us at the time of purchase. If you would like extra services added to the shipping contact us upon the order. Most orders will be shipped within a week if not sooner. S/H for larger or oddly sized pieces please contact gallery.
SHIPPING OF FINE JEWELRY
Fine jewelry is shipped via USPS Express, and always requires an adult signature, unless an exception is requested, in which case we are exempt from liability. We will notify you when your piece is ready to ship. Shipping is usually two days and you will be notified with tracking updates. If you need specific shipping dates, please contact me to make arrangements at the time of ordering.
RETURN POLICY
• Betsy Youngquist & R. Scott Long cheerfully accept exchanges of unchanged merchandise within seven (7) days of purchase with receipt. Absolutely no refunds.
• Custom, sized, repaired, sale or special order pieces (i.e. rings or any other jewelry) will not be accepted for return under any circumstances.
• In shipping a piece back the collector is responsible for appropriate packaging, return postage, insurance, and delivery confirmation back to the gallery. The piece must be in the same condition as it was when sent, and the return needs to be made within 7 days of shipment receipt.
SIZING FOR RINGS
We recommend that you have your ring size measured by a professional jeweler to be certain in the event you seem to be a quarter size between half or whole sizes. Additionally, if you have tried on a piece in the gallery and may have been swollen and thus unsure, we recommend again that you have your finger of choice or a ring already in your collection sized by a professional to be certain. Wide band rings need to be larger than your normal size. Please contact us if you have any questions.
STERLING CARE
To slow down tarnishing, clean your silver jewelry after wearing it. Oils from your skin accumulate on the surface of silver and can predispose it to oxidization. Use warm water to wash your jewelry items gently, and dry them with a soft cloth. You can also delay tarnishing and restore shine by regularly polishing your silver jewelry.
